In 2021, AC Milan—winners of seven European titles—announced a high-profile partnership with OFF-WHITE, the Italian luxury fashion label founded by influential American designer Virgil Abloh in 2013.
This collaboration goes beyond fashion; it carries a strong social message. The designs, especially the jackets, feature a distinctive red tag on the left cuff that symbolizes the partnership. Each tag includes the phrase “I Support,” a concept introduced by Abloh in 2020, alongside a pledge chosen by the wearer. These pledges reflect powerful values such as diversity, equal rights, freedom of speech, access to education, love in all its forms, and social justice. The goal is to encourage players to visibly support and promote these principles whenever they wear their gear.
In 2023, ahead of a Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan revealed a limited-edition grey varsity jacket created with OFF-WHITE. The team debuted it at Signal Iduna Park, and the response was huge—the jacket sold out rapidly and now resells for as much as £4,000.

Then in April 2024, just before their Serie A match against Lecce, AC Milan introduced a bold, limited-edition T-shirt titled “Sports for Change.” It was first seen during the team’s pitch inspection—a unique rollout. A significant portion of the profits from this release is being donated to Alice for Children, a nonprofit supporting young girls in Nairobi by using sport to help build confidence, strength, and self-worth.
